Introducing the incredible ultra wide digital lens from Nikon. Its AF DX Fisheye-Nikkor 10.5mm f/2.8G ED.
Basically I love every Nikon lenses. Its sharp, quite, fast and produce a high quality pictures.

In a further move to expand the opportunities for creative photography with digital sensors the new AF DX Fisheye-Nikkor 10.5mm f/2.8 G ED provides a true 180-degree picture angle.

This is an amazing lens that offers excellent picture quality. This lens isn't for film camera. For film camera, get Nikon 16mm Fisheye. It has 10 optics elements in 7 groups and is solid metal built with plastic hood and front cap. This lens is made is Japan (you will mostly find lenses made either in Thailand or China). It is very light weight and uses a rear gel filter. There is already a slot for it, but you need cut the filter to slide in the slot. However, you don't need the filter. Just be careful when using it since you can't get a front filter to protect the lens.

With starting price about $700, this wide angle lens is actually affordable and I think its a good price since Nikon AF-DX always give the best results.
Go out and take pictures which EMPHASIZE the fisheye. Learn how the lens works, how the distortion "feels". Take ADVANTAGE of the fisheye. If all you use this lens for is a 16mm (35mm equivalent), then your missing the most wonderfull thing about this lens.

Anyone who doesn't understand the charm of the fisheye, heres a photography tip which wont cost you a cent: find a perch ten, or fifteen feet in the air, have a friend (kids are the best choice), and take a shot STRAIGHT down at them. They'll be dead center in the picture, they'll be low on distortion, and you'll have your ENTIRE backyard in the periphery of the shot.
